Information on the confidential handling of your personal data
We take your data protection very seriously and treat your personal data confidentially and according to the legal regulations.
We have taken technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data from loss, destruction, falsification, manipulation and unauthorized access or disclosure. All of our employees and all persons involved in data processing have been obligated to comply with data protection laws and to handle personal data confidentially. Please remember that data transmission over the Internet can always be subject to security gaps. A complete protection against access by third parties is not realizable.
We collect data about access to our web pages and save them as "server log files". The following data is logged in this way:
Time of access
Amount of data sent in bytes
Source/reference from which you reached the page
Used operating system
The data collected is only used for statistical analysis and to improve the website. However, the website operator reserves the right to check the server log files subsequently if concrete indications of illegal use are found.
Cookies - Google Analytics
Our websites use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. ("Google"), 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of our website (including your anonymous IP address) is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data that Google has collected about you. By using our website, you agree to the processing of the data collected about you by Google in the manner and for the purpose described above. You can object to the collection, processing and use of your IP address by Google Analytics at any time with effect for the future. You can find more information on this at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Common browsers offer the setting option not to allow cookies. It cannot be guaranteed that you will be able to access all functions of our websites without restrictions if you make the appropriate settings.
Handling personal data
We collect, use and pass on your personal data only if this is permitted by law or if you agree to the collection of data. For the contractual use of our services, we collect personal data such as your name, address and e-mail address during registration. We use these data primarily for the processing of inquiries, orders and contracts concluded with you.
You are advised that a domain registration requires the transmission of certain personal data, usually name and address as well as e-mail addresses, to the respective national and international registries and the publication in the Whois databases accessible by everybody (e.g. nic.at for .at domains, denic.de for .de domains). Furthermore, these data are also transmitted to e.g. technical partners who carry out the registration process.
Handling of payments
If the concerned person selects "PayPal" as payment option, data of the concerned person is automatically transmitted to PayPal.
The transmission of data is intended for payment processing and fraud prevention. We will transmit PayPal personal data in particular if there is a legitimate interest for the transmission.
User rights: information, correction and deletion
Upon request, you as a user will receive information free of charge about what personal data has been stored about you. Provided that your request does not conflict with a legal obligation to retain data (e.g. data retention), you have the right to have incorrect data corrected and to have your personal data blocked or deleted.
